At Evolui AB ("Evolui", "we", "us") we are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. If you have any questions about this privacy notice or our practices with regard to your personal information, please contact us at support@skipmeal.io.
This privacy notice describes how we collect, use and share your information when you use our mobile application Longa (formerly published as "Skip Meal Intermittent Fasting").
In this privacy notice, if we refer to:
The purpose of this privacy notice is to explain to you in the clearest way possible what information we collect from you, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it. If there are any terms in this privacy notice you do not agree with, please discontinue using our Services immediately.

The short version
Longa does not require an account. The personal information you enter in the App — your goals, body measurements, fasting history, meals, journal notes, water intake and weight log — is stored locally on your device, not on our servers. Two things leave your device: meal photos, which are processed transiently to generate a nutrition analysis, and pseudonymous usage and purchase data, which we use to operate and improve the App. The sections below describe this in detail.
Information we collect
Information you provide in the App (stored on your device)
When you use the App, you can enter information such as:
This information is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to or stored on Evolui's servers. It is used to present your plans, statistics and trends inside the App. You can erase it at any time by resetting the App in Settings or deleting the App from your device.
Meal photos (processed, not stored)
When you use the meal scanning feature, the photo you take is sent over an encrypted connection to our server infrastructure (hosted by Supabase) and passed to our AI processing provider (OpenAI) to generate an automated estimate of the food's calories and nutrients. Photos are processed transiently for the sole purpose of producing this analysis: we do not store your photos on our servers, we do not use them for advertising, and we do not permit our providers to use them for any purpose other than providing the analysis to us. The resulting nutrition estimate is stored locally on your device with the rest of your meal log.
Motion and fitness data
With your permission, the App uses your device's built-in motion sensors to count your steps and estimate calories burned. This data is read and processed on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. You can withdraw this permission at any time in your device's settings.
Purchase data
Payments for subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never receive your card details or billing address. To manage your subscription status, our subscription infrastructure provider (RevenueCat) processes purchase receipts, transaction identifiers, subscription status and a pseudonymous app user identifier on our behalf.
Usage and device data (collected automatically)
We use an analytics provider (PostHog) to understand how the App is used so we can improve it. This includes information such as which features and screens you use and when, your device model, operating system version, app version, language, country, IP address and a pseudonymous identifier. This information is used for internal analytics, troubleshooting and to maintain the security and operation of our App. It is not used to identify you personally.
Contact information
If you contact our support, we will process the contact information and message contents you provide in order to respond to your request.
Notifications and reminders
With your permission, the App schedules reminders (for example, fasting start and end reminders) as local notifications on your device. You can turn these off at any time in the App's settings or your device's settings.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
Where the App processes health-related information you enter (such as weight, fasting and water intake data), this processing happens locally on your device. Where our processing of personal data requires a legal basis under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we rely on the performance of our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b)), your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) — for example, for camera and motion access), and our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the Services (Art. 6(1)(f)).
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers ("processors") that we use to run the App, and only to the extent needed for them to perform their services for us:
Apple — payment processing and the App Store. Purchase and payment data is handled by Apple under Apple's own terms; we never receive your card details.
RevenueCat — subscription management. Processes purchase receipts, subscription status and a pseudonymous app user identifier on our behalf.
Supabase — server hosting for the meal analysis feature. Handles meal photos transiently, together with technical request data.
OpenAI — AI meal analysis. Processes meal photos transiently to produce the nutrition estimates shown in the App.
PostHog — product analytics. Processes usage events, device data and a pseudonymous identifier.
Some of these providers process data in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
We may also disclose your personal information where we are legally required to do so in order to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process, or where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent or take action regarding potential violations of our policies, suspected fraud or threats to the safety of any person. We may share or transfer information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
Security of information we process
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process, including encryption of data in transit. However, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure and reliable, so we cannot promise or guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted while using our App and Services.
Data retention
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it.
Your privacy rights
If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the following rights under the GDPR with respect to personal data we process about you: the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Because the information you enter in the App is stored only on your device, the most direct way to erase it is to reset the App in Settings or delete the App. For data processed through our providers (such as analytics or purchase data), contact us at support@skipmeal.io and we will handle your request.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Sweden, this is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY), www.imy.se.
You can opt out of push notifications at any time in your device's settings or in the App's settings.
Children
The App is not directed at children, and children under the age of 16 are not allowed to use the App or submit any personal data through it. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 16 years of age. If we discover that a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take the required steps to delete that information.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this privacy notice from time to time. If we make material changes to this privacy notice, we may notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes or by directly sending you a notification. We encourage you to review this privacy notice frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information.
